Comedian, author, and filmmaker DC Pierson finds Jake’s pop culture g-spot on today’s in-studio edition of THE FOGELNEST FILES! DC talks about making a custom rap for anyone who pre-orders his new book Crap Kingdom, explains how his sketch comedy group Derrick had to play against themselves in an unreleased sports sketch web series, and tells us a story about conversations from the Work It writers room. Rock legend Eli Braden drops by to talk about the world of ROCK!!!!!! on today’s in-studio edition of THE FOGELNEST FILES! Eli tells us about his involvement with the Howard Stern Show, plays a song he pitched to Ted Nugent, and shares a clip of him smoking the competition as a child on the game show D.B.’s Delight. Eli & Jake discuss Rock with some clips such as; Manakin on The Jerry Lewis Telethon, Al Jarreau’s music video for “Mornin’,” and KISS.

Liz Lee & Jake Fogelnest both had shows on MTV at a young age, so what better topic for them to discuss than MTV on this week’s in-studio episode of THE FOGELNEST FILES! Liz talks about how she ended up getting her own MTV show, why she wasn’t allowed to watch MTV as a kid, and how much of My Life as Liz was real. Jake & Liz discuss obscure MTV moments with a couple of clips which include; Jake’s favorite MTV show Just Say Julie, a celebrity edition of the game show Remote Control, Madonna’s 1990 commercial urging people to vote, and Wesley Willis’ first MTV appearance on Squirt TV.
